White iPhone is on the Way
Rumors Strike Again
With all the so-called sauces or sources on their rounds again, perhaps their articles should be about cooking!
The big news is that “production points” for the white iPhone are scheduled to launch within one month. Add to this that “Hon Hai Precision Industry” of Taiwan is to assemble the white iPhone. Another one is that AT&T and Verizon will be selling the white iPhone by the end of April.
It is reasonable to expect that Apple or at least one of their suppliers would have released this important information concerning the white iPhone officially. However, the sources who supplied it, obviously the usual reliable and those familiar with the company involved, could not or would not be named. Anyway, everyone is now used to this route having travelled it on many occasions.
Apple first unveiled the white iPhone perception during the launch of the iPhone 4 in June last year. Indications are that its delayed launch onto the market was due to a manufacturing issue. However, Apple have not confirmed this or elaborated on it.
The white iPhone boasts a large number of features and a large number of telecommunications operators would like the opportunity of selling it. This would be with the perception that it would help in increasing data network use, with a resultant upsurge in revenue. The world’s largest mobile operator has apparently been in discussions with Apple regarding distribution rights for the white iPhone for over a year.
Reports indicate that 2010 saw in excess of 16 million iPhone’s sold in the last quarter. It accounted for over one third of the sales for Apple in those three months.
